Our History in VIP Dry Cleaners & Laundry

Salvador & Karla Villarreal, with their 10 years of experience from their first dry cleaning business in Bonita California since 1998. Founded VIP Cleaners & Laundry in 2008. From its inception, the emphasis of VIP Cleaners & Laundry has been to provide quality to its clients–not just as lip service, but true quality–and it has been delivering it ever since. The business began at the former Point Loma location utilizing only one Presser. Dry cleaning, blocking, and washing were performed at this location; all dry cleaning was done on-site.

2008 - VIP Cleaners & Laundry was Founded

2010 - VIP Cleaners & Laundry bought the business at 4021 Avati drive.

The Clairemont location isn’t a dry cleaning plant; the work is shuttled back and forth to the Point Loma plant. It helped expand their name and as a result, they added a delivery service for the high-end garment retailers in town that has helped to expand the reputation as one of the finest cleaners in San Diego. These stores have great respect for the quality of service and recommend them frequently to their customers. The most recent business growth has resulted from expansion to wedding gown servicing.

2013 - Expanded to a home delivery service

In the following years, the company grew rapidly under the Villarreal’s management and they expanded to a home delivery service. Which includes at-home pick-up of your garments and a finished, dry cleaned and pressed product delivered right back at your own home. This service helped grow their business significantly and was one of the reasons they no longer fit at the Point Loma location.

2015 Opened up the Morena plant

With their success they opened up the Morena plant, being a bigger and state of the art, location. This included their Clairemont store and the free pick-up and delivery service. The business has experienced healthy growth every year. They hope to keep on expanding, so more people can have a taste of their amazing quality and service.
