There are fewer Dry cleaners now than when I first moved to CA. and the quality has also decreased. I believe that this organization will meet all your needs.

If you go here, there’s a real risk they will (a) wreck your clothes or (b) completely mangle it beyond repair. Their Google reviews are inflated so check out their Yelp reviews. We spent $200+ for them to mangle $500+ of irreplaceable silk kimonos/haoris beyond repair and wasted hours of our time in travel and trying to undo a fraction of their damage— not to mention the anxiety and stress throughout the process.Out of 13 garments (all 100% silk kimonos and haoris), 8 were damaged to varying degrees including frayed/pulled threads, torn stitching, scorch marks, ripped seams, and one garment had a completely torn sleeve and collar. In addition, they fuse barcode stickers to each item -- not only was this not disclosed ahead of time, the stickers are permanent. Once we got home and realized the damage, I called the shop to ask about the stickers and the conversation with one of the ladies went as follows:Me: “Hi, we just picked up some garments and noticed that there are barcode stickers that seem to be permanently fused to the fabric?”Employee: “They’re not permanent.”Me: “They’ve definitely been fused to the fabric.”Employee: “They’re not permanent.”Me: “Ok, is there a way to take them off?”Employee: “Same way we put them on.”Me: “(after waiting for elaboration)... And how is that? Heat?”Employee: “Yes.”As I only ever got a few words in response from her at a time, I had to answer my own question by going through a list of items I could potentially use, and finally when I asked if a home iron would be able to remove the stickers, she said yes. But this was a lie, the iron did nothing. After 1.5hrs of painstakingly slow and careful peeling, we were able to remove only half of the stickers (forcing the rest would have damaged the delicate silk).Distressed, we brought the damaged garments back to the shop to see if they could at least remove the stickers and to show them the mangled haori that was literally falling apart.Their first response was to lie again, saying that the garment had already been damaged. That was not true. We have pictures. The two ladies were talking over each other trying to form a half-baked lie and shift the blame onto us, suggesting that they had flagged the issue at intake -- another lie. The owner then stepped in and was at least more courteous, but he tried to sell us a different lie that the damage was because the garment was old and would simply fall apart with a little force. He then proceeded to try and prove his point by TEARING THE ALREADY TORN SLEEVE until it was literally hanging on by a few threads. And those barcode stickers? They have a special machine to heat fuse them on. So no, a home iron would never have gotten the stickers off unless maybe we burned the silk to a crisp. There was no apology, no accountability, and no compensation offered. They only offered to remove the stickers, to which we were very transparent about expressing our fears that they would cause further damage because silk is not meant to tolerate that kind of heat— which they should have known as “professionals”. They assured us that they could remove the stickers without damage. We told them that if they couldn’t do it, just let us know as we didn’t want them to damage our garments any further. After a night of lost sleep, dreading how else they could wreck our garments, we came back the next day. Not only is there still the permanently fused adhesive on every single one, there are brand new scorch marks, newly torn collars and ripped seams on items that have only been worn once. The lady at the counter just stared at us and lied—again—saying that those were already there.Go anywhere else but here. If you bring something here, you might get it back in two pieces. If you have an issue and make the mistake of trusting them to fix it, they may hand it back in even worse condition than before.

PERMANENTLY DAMAGED genuine silk handmade kimonos and haoris worth hundreds of dollars, bought in various cities across Japan. Damage count: 3 haori, 5 kimonos. 8 garments out of 13.Value: $500+ ...Dry cleaning cost: ~$248.1 of my haori is so unbelievably damaged it's about to lose an entire sleeve and collar, and 8 garments, many brand new, have permanent damage from ADHESIVE BARCODE STICKERS apparently heat fused onto the very thin, fine silk lining below the collars (photos included for everything) 🙃. This is obviously delicate material which anyone who has "worked with fine silks" before (as I was told beforehand) should KNOW. Who heat-bonds adhesives onto fine silk??PROBLEM #1:After picking up our garments and noticing the stickers, we called to ask if this was common practice because they appeared to be permanently on the fabric, the glue visibly fused onto the silk. The woman who answered insisted they were not a problem, and when we asked how we were supposed to take them off, she answered, "same way we put them on", eventually saying with heat, and we then continued to press for any bit of elaboration, asking "okay but how? with a steamer...? dryer...? iron...??" to which she answered iron, which, surprise~, DID NOTHING 🤯. We spent over an hour trying to peel the stickers off and only managed to get 5 off, after painstakingly pulling millimeter by millimeter, feeling the thin silk on the verge of ripping. TWO OF THEM DID IN FACT RIP.PROBLEM #2:My black haori is falling apart, the right sleeve about 6 stitches away from falling off, and the collar half detached. Now, to be fair, this is my oldest and favorite of these garments, so naturally it is more delicate than the rest. Because I was worried, I made sure to go over it before handing it over, but there were no stitches or sleeves or collars falling apart, and I even reinforced the joining sleeve seams just in case. And naturally, I was hesitant to wash it myself and usually just aired it out. If only there was a business that specifically cleaned delicate, expensive garments that can't be washed the normal way... hmm.... 🤔😒At this point we drove back to show them the problems. The man I assume to be the owner was at least civil and trying to do damage control -- unlike the lady on the phone, who was also most likely the lady at the counter insisting my black haori had been in that state when I brought it in. As if I would bring my haori in for dry cleaning already falling apart. The man said they could remove the stickers, and that they had a special tool for it (and yet somehow customers are expected to remove them alone??). We were skeptical and repeatedly asked if they could be removed without damaging the silk. I also said that if they tried to remove them and saw damage, to please just stop. I said again that IF they could do it without causing damage, then okay we'd leave the garments with them. Picked it up next day with, surpise again~, THE FUSED PERMANENT GLUE DAMAGE ON THE SILK... along with broken stitches on the collar of one of the newer golden kimonos and scorch marks on the brand new red kimono. He also insisted the reason for the damage to my black haori was because it was old and the way it had been stitched was bad and the threads had gotten old and broken... An argument I might have been willing to accept had I not gone over it beforehand, and had the collar not been in perfectly fine shape beforehand, and had I not been wearing said haori with no damage the previous week, and had there not been signs of rough handling on other kimonos (pulled threads, dotted marks, etc). He did initially say they could mend it, but as he continued to tug at the already broken stitches and say that I should get the stitching redone entirely, I did not feel confident leaving it in their hands for mending because I was worried they would do machine stitching or accidentally stitch the inner and outer sleeves together, so I took it back and will be mending it myself.NOT a place that can handle fine silks. I wasn't very happy only because I brought in a jacket and 3 button down shirts with collars. I had brought coupons. It came to 34 dollars because she wouldn't apply any of the coupons.
